Beware of Scam Facebook Pages – TzuChi Recycling Center
Dear Members of Public,
We are issuing a critical alert regarding emerging online scams. It has come to our attention that a couple of Facebook Pages named “TzuChi Recycling Center” falsely claimed to be affiliated with our organisation, offering door-to-door collection of second-hand items with high monetary returns.
We hereby clarify that we did not set up the mentioned Facebook Pages and do not provide monetary rewards for recycling items collections or request app installations. We have promptly reported this issue to Facebook administrators.
We believe it is essential to address this matter with utmost urgency to prevent any further unauthorised activities and to safeguard the public from deceptive entities and sites. We are deeply concerned about the potential harm this may cause to the community, and we are coordinating with law enforcement and regulatory authorities to ensure that proper measures are taken.
