Conscious Living and Sustainability Festival: Home with a Heart (2024)
We partnered with the Nee Soon GRC Grassroots Organisations (GROs) to promote eco-conscious living and sustainable practices!
The "Conscious Living and Sustainability Festival: Home with a Heart" is a collaboration between our establishment, Tzu Chi Humanistic Youth Centre, and Nee Soon GRC GROs. This event marks a significant milestone in community engagement and environmental advocacy.
On the morning of the 20th of July, we are honoured to welcome the Grassroots Advisers to Nee Soon GRC Grassroots Organisations: Mr. K Shanmugam, Minister for Home Affairs and Minister for Law; Mr. Louis Ng Kok Kwang; Ms. Carrie Tan Huimin; and Mr. Derrick Goh Soon Hee, to grace the event.
The Grassroots Advisers and delegates viewed and engaged with the participants of the Mindful Nature Walk, Trashion Show, wellness and environmental/sustainability booths and workshops, and a Zumba session. They also visited the Glow On Gallery, a permanent sustainability-themed gallery at our youth centre.
A total of 2000 attendees joined us to learn about sustainable living practices and environmental consciousness through experiential and interactive activities.
